It has been reported that a new iPad mini 6 is in the works and should be released later this year with an all-new design, a new chip inside, and more. The new iPad mini will feature an 8.3-inch display, where the current iPad mini is a 7.9-inch display size. The actual size of the iPad will not change however, they will be getting rid of the existing home button to make room for the display.
9to5Mac has stated that it will feature an A15 bionic chip skipping 3 Generations from the last iPad mini which featured the A12 bionic chip.
These new features are a big step up from their last iPad mini and show that Apple is going in a great direction, with that being said what are your thoughts on the iPad Mini? Would you buy one?
iPhone 13 is hopefully underway to be released this fall with many new features of including a 120-Hz Display, a new camera, better performance, a 1TB storage option, and more. It is clear that the 13 is a step up from its predecessor and will be an all improved version of the 12, although many features are apparent some are still rumored. It is highly likely to have improved connectivity using 5G, a 1TB storage option, and a 120-Hz display, some other features such as the Touch-ID arent confirmed but are likely to be side by side with the Face ID feature.

There has been speculation that Apple may be releasing Face ID across all its future range of iPhones, Tablets, and Macs. We hope to hear more about this with the release of the iPhone 13 in September. There have also been rumors that in at least a few year’s time they will have Face ID for their iMacs. For us this will be incredible to see, it is that extra measure of protection but, also there may be a lot more repairs that are going to be twice as complicated because now you’ll have new parts to adjust and fix too.

Beta testing for macOS Monterey has come out for developers, the latest build is public for beta testers and Apple has released Live text support for intel Macs using the beta for Monteray. Monterey features universal control Facetime’s new Shareplay, a redesigned safari and shortcut app, last but not least a focus mode.
macOS Bigsur 11.5.1 is also available to Update and has resolved security issues with the OS where your Mac could previously run arbitrary code that would give kernel privileges and potentially gain control over your Mac.
It is highly recommended that you Update as it does increase the security of your mac and keeps you safe from any existing holes

From reliable sources, there have been rumors that Apple is in the works of creating a new Pro Display XDR with a dedicated A13 chip and Neural Engine. This display is said to be replacing their existing Pro Display but there are also certain rumors that they are in the works of a cheaper version for regular users.
The A13 Chip is currently being used in their iPhone 11 line and is their 64-bit Hexa-core ARM technology. It is an extremely fast powered processor and would allow the display to work at its highest performance.
It is quite likely that this replacement for the existing Pro Display XDR will hopefully be priced at around the same, although the existing display for most people is expensive, the design industry sees it as quite the useful tool for getting those accurate colors and for those who are in the industry it is more than likely going to be a great addition to the table as its faster processing will mean that as an external display it will be working better than the current one.

All in all the future of Apple is always progressing and graphic designers/ programmers/ developers etc. as well as regular users can expect a lot of improvements with the macOS and new products. For repair shops like us, things will get more difficult with serialized items but apple authentication is around the corner and we can expect to have iPhone screen repairs ready for future releases. iMacs and displays on the other hand is a task that we still have to wait on, with only the release of the 24″ iMac, this year and no other sizes, there hasn’t been anything to expect in that aspect but we can hope to look forward to 27″ models with the m1 and easy repairs.
